Title Extraction and Qualitative Phytochemical Screening of Medicinal Plants: A Brief Summary

Description Phytochemicals are the medicinally active compounds found in plants; parts such as roots, barks, leaves, flowers, seeds, and even pulps. This review focuses on the collection and preparation of plants, the extraction of active compounds, and the qualitative analysis of the phytochemicals present in the plant sample. Novelty is not claimed for the methods described in this paper. Instead, the aim is to review those methods which have been widely used in photochemistry.
